Holiday Card Design: College of Arts & Sciences $250

The College of Arts and Sciences at Georgia State University invites A&S students, faculty, and staff to submit designs for its fifth-annual holiday greeting card contest.

The winning card design will be sent out by Dean William Long to friends of the college. The contest is open to all students, faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Sciences. The winning artist, selected by the Dean’s Office, will receive $250.

Design Guidelines:

All illustrations or photographs should be the original work of the submitter and should broadly reflect the holiday spirit. Ideally, the card will also reference the College of Arts and Sciences and Georgia State University in some way. (However, we would prefer that designs not be focused on the GSU mascot, Pounce.) All designs are for the front of a 5.7” x 8.5”greeting card (or 8.5” x 5.7” if landscape). Illustrations or photographs do not have to feature GSU colors, but if you wish to incorporate them, please see the guidelines on university colors and identity specifications at www2.gsu.edu/~wwwidg/about.htm. Bleeds are acceptable.

Digital drafts of entries should be e-mailed as pdf or jpg files to dasoff@gsu.edu by November 25, 2011. Please keep each file attachment under 1 MB. We will request a higher resolution version of the design if needed. Please include “2011 Holiday Card Design Contest” in the email subject line.
